(You can also find it on the PROJECTS page)
Pretty exciting stuff! I've uploaded the first level (-ish) to my itch.io page! Here is the link to my page and you can check it out!
https://corneliussquabb.itch.io/iron-boot Hope you have fun! And if you would take the time to give me some quality feedback, it'd be much appreciated! (P.S. Click Play to start, controls are left and right arrow keys, hit R to restart when you're in the level. I know it's not super polished, but I really want to let you guys play it. Thanks again!) Well, with the first level of Grassy Green, the first area, almost done, its almost time for us to put out a very basic demo. Which we plan to do. Eventually. Probably within the next 2-3 months. Maybe sooner.
-Altimus My main man Altimus (Spencer) did a sick graphical overhaul on the tileset. If you check out the older posts on Iron Boot, you can see the ground tiles looked horrendous. Now, they look absolutely stunning! We also added the Farting Fly enemy as you can see. He's pretty cool. He'll just fly back and forth between a barrier and just buzz along, ripping it as he goes, if you catch my drift. Pretty good times in my book. Here's a better look at the sprite.
Anyway, it was a lot of fun to animate. He's got a bit of flatulence going on, and call it immature, but I think that's funny. Also, if you haven't noticed, all our enemies have a dorky alliteration scheme to them. Kudos to you if you've caught on at this point! Look forward to more updates like these! ~Sqaubb So... I made a menu. It's a very basic menu, it doesn't even have the Iron Boot logo up on there yet. Also, there's no MLG Boot (unfortunately) but who knows? Maybe I'll make it a hidden Easter Egg... Here's the end object. Not sure if it's a crystal or a gem, or maybe even a stone. Cast your vote in the comments! Anyway, you touch it and you go to the next level. Still, very simple. Almost insultingly simple. I promise I'm not trying to insult your intelligence! (OK, maybe a little bit) So yeah, it definitely has been a bit since the last post, but I think I'm getting back into the swing of things, what with school being out and the foggy mind from lack of sleep is starting to dissipate. Stay tuned for more and may you have a fantastic week!
